Technical Sales – Inks

We are delighted to be working with this international ink manufacturer who have been supplying world class products for over 100 years to a wide range of industries. A rare opportunity has arisen for a talented individual who has Technical Sales experience within the flexible packaging sector and knowledge of Gravure or Flexo printing, to support customers across the UK and develop new business. This is a superb opportunity for a successful specialist who has experience working in the inks; packaging or printing industries.

Reporting to the MD of the French division, you will be responsible for:

Account management of existing customers across the UK
Develop existing accounts to establish further business needs
Developing new business
Managing technical projects
Work closely with the technical team regarding modification or replacement products
Provide regular reporting on business development
Monitor customer trends
Maintain quality and environmental processes
European travel as required

To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate:

Experience with inks in the packaging, printing or related industries is vital for this role
A proven history of working within a technical sales capacity
Experience of Gravure or Flexo printing would be a distinct advantage.
Strong written and verbal skills are also required and the ability to communicate from shop floor to senior management level.
