Salary: £45,600 per year
Our client is a well-known manufacturer, based in Burton on Trent where they have been for many years. They are leaders in their field and now have a great opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician, with an industrial background to join their existing Maintenance Team. Working a 40 hour week, regular days, Monday to Friday, you will be expected to carry out the following duties:
- Repair and maintenance of electrical systems
- Diagnosis and fault finding
- Complete planned and preventative maintenance
- Regular testing of electrical systems
- Ensure all electrical units are functioning properly
- Completion of “point of Work Risk Assessment”
Candidates must have a background in industrial work as opposed to domestic and ideally be a time served apprentice. You should also be able to demonstrate a familiarity with SCADA systems and have the ability to diagnose AC/DC motor faults. Knowledge of open loop, closed loop and three-term control (pressure, temperature and speed) is also essential.
