£144 – £180 per day

SC Clearance / SC Clearable Required

Capita IT enterprise services are looking for a Security Vetting Officer to work in Ruddington, Nottinghamshire (this role can also be based in Chippenham, Wilts) on a contract basis. The contract duration for this role will be an initial 3 months.

The security vetting officer actively manages the security vetting processes to ensure that they are smooth from start to finish. They keep applicants and their line managers’ up to date with progress and chase them as necessary for any outstanding information/documentation required for vetting to be achieved. Our security vetting officers also take ownership and maintenance of the Security Vetting Database.

Other duties include:

Liaising with the various agencies/departments including: Warwickshire, Metropolitan and Devon & Cornwall Police forces as well as the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Defence and Airwave
Issuing new ID badges for applicants once clearance has been achieved.
Checking invoices for any discrepancies.
General admnstrative dutiesEssential skills required:

Good knowledge of security vetting procedures (MOD,Airwave,Met Vetting,NPPV3,SC,DV)
Good communication skills
