Are you an existing Tutor or Assessor and have experience working in a hospitality or customer focussed setting, ideally at team leader or manager level? Do you have customer service experience? What will the role involve?
Working “in the field” with full caseload, you’ll cover a specific geographic territory working with one of the largest restaurant chains internationally. You will need access to a car that’s covered by business insurance, along with a clean driving licence.

You’ll manage your own diary and will work a 37.5 hour week, with occasional evening and weekend work as determined by the needs of your learners. You’ll train and support learners to successfully complete their apprenticeship in the workplace, through face to face discussions, remote assessments and the use of internet based portfolios.

You will provide outstanding support to Apprentices alongside Trainers and Functional Skills Tutors using a variety of teaching, learning and assessment methods. You will ensure learners are stretched to their potential in order to obtain maximum output with their potential to achieve their qualification in a timely manner.

What skills are we looking for?
To be successful as a Tutor / Assessor you must be approachable, self-motivated and possess high levels of empathy. You must be an excellent negotiator and able to use your initiative to solve problems, often involving different stakeholders.

You must be comfortable working with a range of IT packages so that you can access and utilise the technology available. You will need to hold a minimum of level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English and relevant assessor/tutor qualifications.
