Multi – Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £36,900 per year

Working with this global manufacture, we are looking for an electrically bias maintenance engineer to join the team.

We are looking for a logical thinker to diagnose faults, and equipment repairs with a “future proof” mentality whilst ensuring departmental KPI’s are achieved. To be actively involved in projects to improve the efficiency of the plant. If this sounds like you get in touch.

Responsibilities attached to this maintenance Engineers Role:

• Carry out Electrical and Mechanical fault finding and repairs
• Electrical installations where required

• Proactively promote Continuous improvement techniques
• Maximise machine running time.
• Ensure that all Health and Safety requirements are strictly adhered to at all times
• Raise permits to work when required.

Education requirements and skills required to be successful in this role.

• Allen Bradley PLC experience would be advantageous
• Working knowledge of pneumatic & hydraulic systems
• Servicing and repair of mechanical equipment
• Time served electrical apprenticeship
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a production maintenance environment with a multi-skilled approach
• Experience of working on AC and DC motors and drives, ability to programme and fault find
• Analytical, logical and methodical approach to problem solving
• Computer literate.
