Our client, a leading Public Sector organisation, is seeking to appoint an experienced Technical Architect with a proven track record with oracle e – Business Suite to join their technical team based on site in Warrington. As the Technical Architect you will bring your experience and expertise to the team to assist in delivering solutions to issues and liaise with Business leads and users to assist with requirements definitions and solution discovery.

Key Tasks and Deliverables:

*-Ability to discuss and explain development requirements, solutions and issues with teams and other stakeholders
*. -Work with Business Leads and others to identify, capture and document requirements.
*Clarify and evaluate requirements risks and issues with end users or other stakeholders.
*-Work closely with Lead Architects and provide analysis against requirements.
*-Responsible for owning; impacting and updating data models; data architecture; data dictionaries; configuration and reference data catalogues. -Design and maintain data models and data integration.
*-Take ownership of data related design decision throughout the delivery; including selection of tools to support data architecture activities and reporting to Lead Architects.
*-Ensuring data-specific project activities technically align ensuring that the architecture is consistent from a data perspective
*-Ensure compliance with data related standards and key architectural principles -Add to the team technical knowledge respond to queries.
*-Responsible for developing and understanding business requirements including IT as appropriate
*. -Responsible for articulating requirements to key stakeholders and developers, designing and developing business based solutions and models, monitor and support development plans.
*-Responsible for facilitating and presenting workshops to analyse the process and reach solutions
*-Evaluate the impact of any change on business requirements during the lifecycle of a project.
*-Responsible for producing and reviewing products negotiated and agreed with all stakeholders and approving requirements.
*-Responsible for complying with governance, reviewing programme/projects in accordance with the Change lifecycle and acting upon lessons learnt
*-The ability to work on more than one change project at any time in a fast paced environment.

Key skills and experience required:

Proven track record of complex projects/programmes with high IT content
* Stakeholder management skills Technical exposure to data; data modelling and architecture
* Project delivery experience within government Experience of management of cost and risk in a technical environment.
* Prince practitioner
* Oracle supplier experience.
* Experience of working with multiple outsourced delivery suppliers.
* Experienced IT practitioner with thorough knowledge; understanding and practical experience of Oracle e-business suite
* Proven record of successful Information/Data architecting of major business systems through to operation.
Experience with Virtualisation technologies would also be advantageous
