The Company
Based in the heart of the City this structural engineering consultancy has a very bright future and they want you to share in it. Established 5 years ago it is multidisciplinary in its approach and uniquely for its size it works on substantial overseas structural projects as well as UK based structural projects. Projects range from high end, architectural led structures, residential cut and carve projects to master planning leisure and tourist facilities overseas. They are also currently working on a central London 30 storey tower development as well as intricate commercial refurbishments. Projects typically range from £8million to £60million.

The company is headed up by a chrismatic, well respected figure of the industry who has big plans for the company and is proving himself capable of delivering them.

The Role
You will be joining the company at a crucial time in their development as they look to develop their first structural project team. reporting into the associate of the company you will be working on, and be responsible for, a number of their key prestigious projects. You will be working closely with the clients, the developers and the architects as you look to deliver excellent structural design in line with the company culture.

The Engineer
You will be a structural engineer who is ambitious and looking to break the mould, this is not a role for a conventional thinker. Academically strong you will have a good pedigree of working on good structural projects, delivering strong design in a collaborative approach with the stakeholders. You will be used to actively seeking responsibilities within your professional life, thrive on pressure and enjoy your chosen career, you maybe chartered but it is not essential. Your communication skills, both verbal and written will be excellent. You maybe at a large company and frustrated with the red tape holding you back, or you maybe with a small firm and their lack of ambition is causing you to feel restricted, either way you know you need a change and want to take on a challenge.

The Rewards
This is a rapidly growing company and this role will directly lead to a position of Associate director in 3-5 years time. Beyond that a place on the board is a real possibility.
