Building Services Design Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Salary: £54,000 – £66,000 per year

Today Dodd Group has more than 950 employees, 19 offices nationwide, and a turnover exceeding £160 Million. Due to project growth, an opportunity has arisen for a Head Office-based Electrical Building Services Design Engineer to join us on a permanent basis.

You will be used to working to high electrical engineering standards within the budgets and timescales set by our clients. You will be engaged and conscientious, leading by example. You will have the ability to learn quickly and work methodically under your own initiative. You will be happy to share your experience and mentor young Apprentices.

You will also have awareness and commitment to health, safety, and environmental procedures relating to design and construction activities.

Preferably you will have a solid background in electrical engineering, having worked in related industries, and have a good working knowledge of the applicable design codes including BS7671 – electrical wiring regulations and British Standards.

It would be advantageous to have C&G 2396 electrical design qualification and knowledge/experience of the following:

• AMTECH
• Autocad 2D
• Revit
• Relux
