CAD Technician (M & E Building Services)

Our client is an international M & E Building Services design company that is currently experiencing exceptional growth and opening a new office in Woking. They currently hold a vacancy as CAD Technician with excellent opportunities to use the latest 3D CAD Modelling software on interesting projects.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

After initial training your principal responsibilities shall include:
• Production of 3D BIM Models of M & E Building Services installations
• Liaise with internal staff and clients ensuring drawing information is correct at the time of issue.
• Amend and update drawings as and when required
• Adhere to company drawing standards and procedures
• Assist in the training of more junior members of staff

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

• It is essential that candidates have experience in the production of M & E Building Services drawings with either consultants or contractors
• Must be proficient in the use of AutoCAD
• Some knowledge of 3D packages such as Revit, CADDUCT, Fabrication MEP, etc advantageous but not essential
• Good understanding of industry standard drawing office practices
