Salary: £39,600 per year
Our client a successful American owned manufacturing company are seeking to appoint a Field Service Technician to join their existing UK based team. You will need to be multi-skilled in both electrical/mechanical engineering and priority will be given to candidates with PLC experience.
The ideal candidate will have had experience within the food / packaging industry as a Field Service Technician, dealing with breakdown call-outs, planned and routine maintenance, commissioning and decommissioning factory setups. This is predominately a home based position; however you will be required on occasions to attend their premises based in Newmarket.
It is essential that you hold a full, clean UK driving Licence and a current passport. You will be attending call-outs through the UK and Europe. Field Service Technicians will be supplied with a van for work use only. You will be required to attend a Pre-employment medical check prior to any offer of employment being confirmed. You will also need to be able to supply fully checkable, recent work references.
