Operations Director

Salary: £108,000 – £120,000 per year

Advanced Supply Chain are looking for an Operations Director to join the team based in Corby. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary, alongside a generous bonus and an excellent benefits package!

Our regional Operations Director of the South will be a key member of our leadership team within a fast-paced, growing organisation. Our new Operations Director will help us focus and deliver on the implementation and business objectives across the South. You’ll be working alongside our Business Operations Director and our Senior Leadership team to help develop ongoing strategic long-term plans that will drive levels of productivity and success. This is an exciting time to join the company as we go through a period of growth and success through the UK and internationally.

Roles and responsibilities of our Operations Director:

• Directing operational activities across the South locations, and collaborating with peers to drive consistency and operational efficiencies
• Implementing lean management procedures to drive continuous improvement
• Translating our strategic plans into clearly defined operational plans
• Recommending Customer Experience deliverables, developing a plan and leading delivery of the changes
• Creating and implementing plans to improve the service provided to our customers.
• Performing a market analysis to determine customer needs and new opportunities
• Working alongside colleagues from other departments to deliver business improvement projects
• Mentoring and developing team members in an environment where they can excel

Experience required of our Operations Director:

• Proven senior management experience in a highly dynamic setting
• Commercial awareness with an eye for seeing business improvement opportunities
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and an ability to communicate complex business ideas.
• Previous experience working for a company within the industry or from a similar business
• Highly motivated with a passion for driving operational business change and delighting the customer.
• Experience with budgets and business plan development
• The ability to develop innovative solutions for increased productivity
• Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using business management software
