Salary: £30,000 – £44,400 per year
An engineering business specialising in research and development instrumentation is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team in Northampton. The business designs and manufactures products for a range of industries including automotive, medical and semiconductor.
As the Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, preventative maintenance and technical support on-site to the business’ customers. This role requires a strong grasp of electrical and electronics principles.
Whilst you will cover the whole of the UK as the Field Service Engineer, the company’s client base is centred in the Midlands. There will also be some work carried out in the workshop in Northampton.

Field Service Engineer Requirements
• Proven Electrical and Electronic fault finding and service skills
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Strong computer literacy
• Knowledge of speed drive control systems or gas analysis
