CNC Miller

Salary: £18 – £24 per hour

Job Purpose:

To set and operate CNC 3-AXIS milling machines with a range of controllers including Fanuc, Siemens, and Heidenhain.

Responsibilities:

* Read and understand production orders

* read and understand Technical/Engineering drawings and related documentation such as Condition of Supply (COS) and engineering change note (ECN)

* set and Operate various CNC machining centres

* adjust machining parameters to maintain optimum performance

* understanding basic programming codes – conversational and/or G-codes

* manufacture tooling and fixtures to aid machining

* first off inspection

* deburring machined components

* maintaining consumable tooling

* operator maintenance

* maintain good 5S and housekeeping

* assist production and engineering with continuous improvement activities

* comply with Attewell and Shimtech policies
