Trainee Marketing Officer at STEM Learning

We’re looking for a dynamic individual to take on a trainee role within a large marketing and communications team at STEM Learning based in York, near the University.

STEM Learning works with teachers, employers and volunteers to inspire and enthuse young people in the STEM subjects (Science, Engineering, Technology and Mathematics).

Your typical day as Trainee Marketing Officer will include:

• Delivering a mix of marketing and communications activities across digital, offline and social media channels
• Involvement in all aspects of digital marketing and communications including social media, email marketing, PPC and developing & posting website content
• Managing the production and distribution of marketing materials
• Providing a suite of communications support to a range of network partners – supporting them as they implement the most effective marketing in their local area
• Working with a wide range of external partners and collaborating with colleagues to deliver integrated marketing campaigns

The role offers a unique opportunity to learn on the job (whilst getting paid!) and receive professional training to help you develop the professional standard required to work as a Marketing Officer.

You will work through an advanced Marketing apprenticeship (starting at Level 4 foundation level) with the opportunity to continue up to Level 6 (degree level). At the end of your training, you will gain a qualification and can become a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).

Salary: £26,000per yeardependent on experience
