Management Accountant

Salary: £48,000 – £54,000 per year

A fixed contract has become available for a Management Accountant to cover a maternity contract for a period of 12 months. This position will require someone that has already gained experience of working at a similar level.

Management Accountant – About The Role

You will be working within an innovative engineering related business industry and as such your responsibility will incorporate reporting on 4 European entities. This position will work across both elements of accountancy transactions and month-end duties.

Reporting into a Commercial Financial Controller you will be given the opportunity to work in a position and business environment that offers real autonomy. The position is initially available on a fixed term contract basis for a period of 12 months. Your responsibilities will incorporate the following: –

* Month-end reporting to include journal and reporting on 3 separate legal entities

* Verifying and entering invoices

* Payroll journals

* Expense management

* VAT & Intrastat

* Stock analysis

* Balance sheet reconciliation

The successful Management Accountant will have:

Studying of finalist stage within either CIMA / ACA / ACCA or equivalent

Experience of reporting either as an Assistant or Management Accountant

Experience of working within an engineering or manufacturing environment an advantage
