Electrical Shift Engineer

Desired Experience & or Qualifications

• City & Guilds Electrical
• 17th Edition IEE regulations
• Previous service & maintenance experience
• Provision of service to commercial environment

High Voltage experience desirable

Typical Duties

• To carry out the service and reactive maintenance to a range of M&E Plant & Equipment which will include 3ph Power Distribution, Factory Lighting, UPS, Generators, BMS, Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting, Roller Shutter Doors, AHU’s, Compliance Checks, Plant monitoring etc.

• Working within a commercial property which runs 24/7 extremely sensitive equipment you also need to monitor & support specialist sub contractors where applicable, liaise with the clients on site staff and keep your line management full aware of any potential problems, H&S issues and time delays.

• Work hours required to complete the task in hand.

• Support other Engineers in the region as and when required and liaise with other members of direct and indirect staff to carry out duties effectively and with minimal disruption

• Uphold the integrity of the company at all times

• Assist in the preparation of company reports, work sheets and support service level agreements and procedures as required

• Carry out duties within company safety policy and advise line manager of all situations which could effect the safety of people or property

• You will be required to work both day and night shifts on a 4 on 4 off basis (12 hour shifts)

Annual Basic Salary up to £45,600(subject to skills, qualifications and experience) 20 days Holidays, Company S/H Pension Scheme Membership, Mobile Phone, Specialist tools provided. (Overtime is available) & Call-Out
