Project Manager (Construction / Design & Build)

Salary: £72,000 per year

As Assystem’s Defence business grows, we are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated Project Manager to lead the Project Team.

The post will be based from one our local Assystem offices, but will require regular travel to client and / or other Assystem sites.

Role Details:

Job title: Project Manager (Construction / Design & Build)

Location: Flexible working from one of our local Assystem Offices – Regular client site visits based in scotland

Hours: 37 hours

Sector: Nuclear and Defence

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Manage a multi-disciplined team of Engineers and designers to ensure that construction and refurbishment projects are delivered within budget and timescale targets.
Ensure Sustainable design principles are being met
Build and Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders

Profile

What we are looking for in our next project manager:

Degree qualified in a Mechanical, Construction or Building Services discipline
Significant demonstrable Project Management experience within Construction / Mechanical and Electrical refurbishments
The successful candidate will be well-versed in handling and resolving multiple simultaneous challenges whilst managing stakeholder expectations. The capacity and aptitude to effectively and efficiently communicate and to plan will be key.
APM Qualified/PRINCE 2

**Security clearance**

This role requires the successful candidate to hold a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance.

Due to the nature of work this role will be delivering and for the protection of certain assets, the successful candidate has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non-ITAR country.
