Trainee Composite Trimmer / Fitter

Job Title: Trainee Composite Trimmer/Fitter
Role: Permanent
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am – 5pm
Salary: £26,000 – £28,080per year
Location: Melton Mowbray
Background required: Must be able to read engineering drawings and have a transferrable background working with intricate parts manipulating materials.

Overview:
Working for a leading Composite Manufacturing/Engineering company of high end and complex products, assemblies and systems for a diverse range of industry sectors.
We require a Trainee Composite Trimmer/Fitter working in first class design, prototyping and analysis facilities.
My client can provide leading edge services within the composite manufacturing industry sector.

Essential Skills:
-Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
-Have previous experience in a transferrable working environment – You may come from a sheet metal/Fabrication role with the desire to transfer into the composites industry.

Suitability:
If you can read engineering drawings and have transferable skills to conduct the following duties:
-Panel prep
-Trimming
-Riveting
-Potting inserts
-Bonding
-Assembly

This role would suit a hands on, detailed engineer who has the eye for detail manipulating carbon fibre and composite products.

Opportunity:
This is a Permanent role within the business, which can offer progression to Team Leading and Supervisory roles with expansion plans forecasted in this already developed but expanding team
