Our Client is a North London based Local Council who have an immediate need for an experienced and suitably qualified Gas Safe Registered, Gas Heating Inspector / Gas Heating Contracts Manager to Manage the Boroughs Repairs, Maintenance and Breakdown Contracts on their Domestic Heating Plant.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience of working as a Gas Heating Inspector / Contracts Manager within a Public Sector type environment or have worked for a Contractor on Local Authority schemes.

Gas Heating Inspector duties will typically include:
Managing the domestic gas contract for servicing and maintenance.
Providing technical support to the facilities Management Team and Estate Managers.
Assist in providing budgeting costs for plant replacement.
Assist in the design/ specification of plant replacement and managing the installations within domestic dwellings.
Evaluate RAMS in accordance with council requirements.
Carrying out quality control and post inspections to maintain a high standard of workmanship.
Allocating work to Sub- Contractor’s.
Completion and payment request of Sub- Contractor’s.
Managing Installation and repairs to Domestic Heating Systems
Assist in design specification of domestic plant to assist the client.
Evaluation of method and Risk Assessment as per company standards.
Attending sites to resolve technical issues.
Attending meetings.
Candidates should have their own Gas Safe Registration.
