Large Format Digital Print Operator

The Role:

Our clients, an online printers based in Southend are looking to recruit an Large Format Digital Print Operator to join their growing business

Duties will include:

• To undertake preparation of files and printing of large format digital prints as requested.
• Liaise with the sales team
• Update the system at each stage of the process
• To maintain the digital studio equipment and facilities in a clean condition and in good working order,
• Ensure the quality of job output for correctness and image quality
• Cutting to correct size
• Packing ready for despatch

Candidate Specification:

The successful candidate should have some previous experience working in the print industry and should also have/be:

• Knowledge of Photoshop
• Understanding of large format printing workflow and colour management.
• Excellent communication skills
• Experienced in setting and running large format digital machinery
• Must be capable from seeing the job from initial brief through to print ready artwork
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment ensuring high standards are kept at all times

Other Information:

Although some print experience is required this is very much a role for somebody to grow into and as such your money will go up as you gain more experience.
