Senior Scientist – Protein Expression and Characterisation

We are looking for a Senior Scientist – Protein Expression and Characterisation to join our client, which is a fast-paced, early-stage ground-breaking biotech company based in Cambridgeshire.

You will support projects in the growing pipeline with primarily mammalian protein expression, purification, characterisation, and QC as well as applications of biochemical and molecular biology methods. Planning and designing your own experiments will excite you, as will analysing and evaluating data and presenting your findings to enable decision making. To do this you will be skilled in molecular cloning and primer design, a broad range of chromatography techniques, as well as sample QC using biophysical analyses, SDS-PAGE and HPLC.
