Nursery Room Leader

Salary: £26,000 – £27,600 per year

We are currently recruiting for a Nursery Room Leader to join a lovely Private Nursery in Barnet, North London. This is for a full time role working closely with the third in charge and overseeing all aspects of the room.

This 60 place Nursery setting has ample of outdoor space and on offer is a great training plan. If you are an experienced Nursery Nurse and looking to for your next career move, then this could be a great opportunity. If you are already a Nursery room Leader then this would be a great opportunity to further develop you knowledge and skills.

Nursery Room Leader Duties include but not limited to:

* viewing planning sheets and record keeping of all the staff in your room

* Ensuring routines are being followed and run smoothly

* Ensuring new decisions are taken on board and maintained in the room at all times

* Ensuring that all policies and procedures are being followed by all staff

* Being an excellent role model to the other staff in your room

Nursery Room Leader Skills/Qualifications:

* Level 3 (or above) full and relevant Childcare Qualification

* Minimum 2 years’ post qualification

* Relevant childcare qualifications in accordance with OFSTED guidelines

* Thorough understanding and knowledge of legislation including EYFS

* Empathetic, caring and friendly

* Enthusiastic, positive attitude

* Patient

* Proven supervisory and coaching experience
