Laboratory Support Assistant

Office Angels are working on behalf of our client recruiting for a Laboratory Support Assistant based in the Portsmouth area.

The role will entail working closely with Scientific Laboratory Staff to resolve issues with the use of Agilent Chemstation along with occasional support for other laboratory applications. You will have at least 2 years previous experience in a similar role within a pharmaceutical laboratory where you will be required to co-ordinate equipment, vendor support for imaging analysers, microscope applications and spectrophotometer’s to name a few, as well as review and analyse incidents, perform problem management for identifying causes and solutions as well as create user-level self help documents, such as FAQ’s and training new users.
Ensure customer satisfaction through customer feedback and action to improve satisfaction levels

Able to work in a team, access help from teams in other countries, and from equipment / application vendors.

UK resident or valid UK work permit, or experience of work in the UK and eligible to apply for a UK work permit.

Candidates must have experience of ensuring customer satisfaction through feedback and action to improve issues, be able to work in a team as well as assisting colleagues in another country.

This is a permanent role and you must be a car driver due to location.
