Salary: £48,000 – £60,000 per year

Executive Assistant / Operational Support (Risk)
Leeds
£40,000 – £50,000

This is a unique role to join a fantastic financial services company at an exciting period of change where you will be required to provide high level executive support along with utilising your knowledge within Risk to assist the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) develop and execute risk strategies.

Within the role you will undertake all executive support tasks including:
* Managing the day to day performance of the business unit
* Schedule, plan and chair Board and Committee meetings
* Screen all incoming calls and emails, dealing where possible or categorising for the CRO
* Manage the ever changing diary of the CRO
* Manage and organise events
* Book international travel and accommodation
* Collating technical PowerPoint presentations and documentation
* Producing regulatory correspondence

Alongside the executive support tasks you will be required to have an understanding of risk from a strategic standpoint to enable you to:

* Support the CRO with the design, delivery and oversight of projects within Risk
* Deliver across a wide range of areas including management of change initiatives, projects, presentation & reporting and regulator correspondence.
* Play a key role in foreseeing and addressing risks & issues on behalf of the CRO, ensuring appropriate processes are put in place to execute on key accountabilities.
* Day to day management of Risk Management financial plan & forecast, including budgets and FTE control

For the role you will need a diverse set of skills and experience including:

* Providing Executive support at Senior levels
* Report writing & producing correspondence for Executive audiences
* Proactively identifying and resolving issues
* Managing stakeholder relationships within own business unit, across the organisation and externally
* Chairing meetings with Senior Managers and Executives
* Converting business requirements into strategic and operational plans for business unit
* Influencing and communicating at a senior level within an organisation.
* Knowledge of products, practices, risk management, service processes and systems
* Experience of converting data into information for control, reporting and decision making purposes

This is a great opportunity and for the role you will ideally have a Business Degree or financial services experience, strong financial acumen and an understanding of people/customer risk disciplines.
