Are you a Travel Consultant who prides themselves on exceptional customer service? Have you experience working for an independent travel agency and selling a wide variety of tour operators, offering your clients choice? Would you like to work part time for a well established, reputable, independent travel agency in Nottinghamshire that offer a range of travel related services from leisure travel, to business travel through to sports related travel? An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen to work as a Travel Consultant, where you will be able to offer a wide range of holiday products offering your customer what is best for them. The successful Travel Consultant will receive a competitive salary package, including educationals!
JOB DESCRIPTION:
– Dealing with customers face to face and over the phone, offering excellent customer service
– Quoting a wide range of holidays from packages to tailor-made to suit your customers’ needs
– Converting quotes into confirmed bookings
– Booking business travel for corporate customers
– Booking travel for sports bodies and supporters
– Working hours are Monday – Friday 0900-1730 and Saturdays on a rota 0900-1700, you will work part time and there is some flexibility to the hours and days for this position.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The successful candidate will have previous experience from working in a travel agency, and have a real passion for travel and good worldwide knowledge. It is preferable but not essential that the candidate will be well-travelled and have experience of working within an independent travel company.
THE PACKAGE:
A starting salary in the region of £26,000dependent on experience is available for the successful candidate. Additional benefits include educationals and some incentives are also on offer.
