REVOVERY SUPPORT WORKER
ISLINGTON, NORTH LONDON
Salary £27,082.00 per year + benefits
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Recovery Support Workers have the personal qualities required to manage these customer expectations alongside the responsibilities of their role. Recovery Support Worker activities include:
1. Building supportive, trusting relationships with customers and creating a positive atmosphere.
1. Working proactively with other members of the team to handle the service caseload and administrative responsibilities.
1. Conducting key work sessions regularly as required, that are innovative and engaging in order to achieve Support Plan goals.
1. Ensuring ongoing assessment and management of risks associated with customers within an attitude of ‘positive risk taking’.
1. Providing support with daily living activities, including practical assistance to support customers to independent living e.g. budgeting, cooking, establishing a night time routine.
1. Supporting customers to maintain a healthy environment and where appropriate assisting them to clean their accommodation and maintain good personal hygiene.
1. Be able to ensure that new customers move into a clean and dignifying environment (like what we would want our family member to live in)
1. Assisting in the recording and reporting of customer incidents.
1. Managing customer referrals, completing assessments and obtaining and maintaining all relevant paperwork within appropriate time frame
1. Attend regular supervision and case work management with line manager.
1. Attend regular reflective practise; team meeting and take notes as required.
1. Support the cleaning
1. regime of the service particularly Covid 19 cleaning requirements.
1. Developing productive relationships with partner organisations to improve service outcomes.
Hours of work will include 8 am – 4 pm, 2 pm – 10 pm and 10 am – 6 pm shifts. You will be required to cover shifts across Monday to Sunday including some bank holidays.
