Jasmine at Connex is looking for a primary SEND teacher to join our already fantastic team for a thriving Primary SEN School in Coventry, CV3.

As a SEND teacher, you will be required to: assist in the development and implementation of an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP); implement sessions suitable to the learning styles and abilities of your students; create a calm and positive learning environment; support students both academically and pastorally; work with a range of professionals in order to support your pupils.

This role can be both temporary (short/long-term agreement) or temporary to permanent (with the aim of you becoming a full-time employee of the school).

Essential:

• QTS or equivalent
• Experience within a SEND setting or willingness to learn
• A caring and supportive attitude towards SEND pupils
• A knowledge or understanding of de-escalation strategies

Desirable:

• Leadership experience or an understanding of intervention provision
• An enhanced and barring list DBS on the update service, or prepared to apply for one
• High expectations and dedication to SEND learning
