Primary Teacher (Booster / Intervention)

Salary: £26,000 per year

A good primary school in Blackpool is looking for an Intervention Teacher to work with groups of pupils (approx. 10 pupils at a time) to raise their attainment in Maths and English on a full-time basis. The role will start after half term. Both newly and fully qualified teachers are encouraged to apply.

A good primary school in Blackpool is looking for an Intervention Teacher to work across the age range. This school is focused on providing each pupil with the opportunity to reach their full academic potential. In the last two years they have had huge success with the key appointment of intervention teachers. The Senior Leadership Team work with all staff and assist every staff member in all aspects of the school.

Teacher and Role Information:

You will be working with groups of pupils (approx. 10 at a time) who need more focus on progressing academically. You will be expected to confidently plan your group work with a focus on Maths and English. You will be working alongside the class teachers in monitoring pupil progression.

You will also have good behaviour management and will be able to maintain pupils focus on work. Your objective is to raise levels of understanding across the pupils, and also help with self-confidence and enjoying school.

This is a good school that wants to progress all of its pupils and dedicate time and energy to making sure every pupils reaches their full potential.
