Contracts Manager – Fit out/Refurbishment (Hospitality) – £55-65k p.a.

The Client

My client is a market leader in the high end fit out sector. They operate as a main contractor and sub contractor on a variety of Commercial, Retail, Leisure & Hospitality fit outs. The bulk of their work is the refurbishment and fit out of Restaurants and High Street non-food retailers. They work on prestigious projects nationwide; however the bulk of their work is in London. They are also an investor in people who have established an excellent reputation in recent years.

The Role

They are looking for a Contracts Manager who has fit out/refurbishment experience, in particular, the hospitality sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of multiple sites nationwide, project values ranging between £500k-£1.5m

Duties:

* To provide a friendly, managerial interface between Client and the Company.
* Visit Site’s and ensure all health and safety standards are being adhered to and maintained
* Ensure sites are running smoothly, on time and within budget
* Prepare programmes and method statements
* Sign of workers time sheets, managed sub contractors, trades, labour and site management
* Liaise with project managers and senior management
* Have an understanding of the Health & Safety Law, and in particular, the relevant legislation including the Management of Health & Safety Regulations, Construction
* (Design and Management) Regulations, Construction (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations
* Liaise with pre construction team and commercial department

Person Specification

* At least 5-10 years in a similar role
* Trade or degree background desirable
* Computer literate.
* CSCS & SMSTS certificates.
* Committed individual who is prepared to work long hours
