Here at Branching Out Newark we offer a strengths based support service which aims to build the skills, confidence and independence of the young people who come through our doors. This busy and dynamic service needs motivated Support Workers to encourage our young people to be the best version of themselves. Being a young person is tough, help us to lead future generations.

Are you confident and resilient with previous experience working with Young People? If the answer is yes, then we have the perfect role for you.

We are looking for individuals with previous experience of working with Young People and who have an understanding of childhood trauma and it’s effects. If you’ve worked as a teaching assistant, youth worker or even volunteering with Young People we want to hear from you. 

Our team play a critical role in advocating for our tenants. From liaising with agencies to help them access permanent accommodation to supporting them to access education or employment training Branching Out do it all. This includes advocating for them in meetings with services. 

There’s still time for fun though as you will also support and encourage activities such as football, sports and activities.

Looking for a hands on role? Look no further. 

Working on a rota basis means you will need to be flexible. Our service operates 24/7. Night staff work from 21:45pm until 07:00am. 

As a Night Support Worker, you will be undertaking a varied range of tasks on the night shift. Not one day is the same as you will be involved in site management, operating security surveillance, conducting health and safety checks of the building. You will be on hand to offer support and guidance to our young people and helping with any issues or concerns they may have. 

Salary: £26,000per year pro rata (£26,000 per year) plus enhancements Location: Newark
