Social Media Assistant

I am currently recruiting for an amazing role based in Durham.

The opportunity has arisen for a Social Media Assistant to join a fantastic growing company, working for a fast growing retail company. You will be responsible for all social media aspects of the business, including the company’s online social presence and also the management and growth of the presence. You will have support from other members of the team and also able to work alongside the directors to create new brand awareness online and also promotions and campaigns. You will be expected to be enthusiastic and show great interest in the role and create some of your own new ideas and campaigns.

I am looking for candidates who have experience in a similar positions who are looking to further their careers. This is a permanent and full time position which will be Monday – Friday 9-5pm however you will be required to monitor social media at other times such as evenings or weekends, this can however be done out of office.

As well as posting and providing brand awareness you will be expected to take responsibility for all paid social media activity, see new ideas through from start to finish, support other members of staff and take responsibility for social reporting and creating monthly reports and competitor analysis.

You will have 2+ years experience in a similar role and be able to show a strong broad understanding of social media and different social media platforms. You will need to be a team player and have great planning skills and excellent communication skills.

Minimum level of education or qualifications (Bachelor Degree)

starting salary of £26,000per year

MUST HAVE 2+ year’s relevant business social media experience not just personal social media use.
