Order Checker
5 days from 7, hours between 7am and 10pm
The Candidate
Our client is looking for an Order Checker to ensure all orders being collected are 100% accurate and are in pristine condition and assembled and packaged in the correct way. You will have the following skills, experiences and attributes.
* Previous experience working in a warehousing environment.
* Physically fit – able to lift 20kg
* Strong customer service skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Keen to train and develop.
* Good attention to detail.
* Polite, methodical and organised.
The Role
Your roles and responsibilities will include…
* To carry out a thorough check of all products to ensure they match the products and Quantities ordered.
* You are responsible for quality control. No damaged product is to be given out under any circumstances.
* Ensure all products are adequately re-packaged to ensure damage does not occur during transit.
* To obtain customer agreement of quality of product and gain a signature on the delivery note accepting the products as checked
* To Invoice the delivery, passing one copy to the customer and the other one to the management team to pass to the admin team.
* Load products neatly and securely in the customer’s vehicles
* Help remove from vehicles and bring products into the building when customers are returning items
* Move waste from bins/cages to the dedicated dumpsters or skips.
* To ensure all none needed stock or back to stock returns have been processed back to stock daily
