Multi-Engineer – Mechanical Bias (Static Site)

Salary: £50,400 – £54,000 per year

We are supporting a Large London based FM company to recruit at Multi-Skilled Engineer for their West India Quay site. The role will be Mechanically biased and will be to carry out all planned and reactive maintenance tasks to the highest standard, whilst all Health & Safety requirements are met.

Qualification/Experience

• NVQ 3 Craft (Mechanical) or City & Guilds Part 1 / part 2 (Inc. 17th Edition wiring regulations)
• Be able to qualify for minimum CRB security clearance
• MIninum of 5 years building services within similar position
• Up to date technical knowledge including all relevant ACOP’s, fire and environmental control measures, building control requirements, and all aspects of the Health and Safety regulations in relation to building management.
• Experience of maintaining and fault finding upon Building Services M&E HVAC systems and associated component parts

Key duties

• Provide detailed reports on required works at the request of the Contract Manager
• Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to all building plant, equipment and systems within the period issued.
• To provide a work report upon completion of each maintenance task in order to update the CAFM with regard to maintaining complete asset work history, plant condition and components upon the apparatus that have been replaced
• Ensure that the buildings compliant testing and inspections of the buildings various systems are undertaken as a priority.
• Ensure that engineering subcontractors are appropriately supervised, and comply with contractual commitments, and site operating processes.
• To develop a good working relationship with all members of H&S Support Services and clients staff.
• To respond to the Building Management System (BMS), HVAC alarms or system abnormalities and effect adjustments where required within the building systems. The use the Building Management Systems for fault finding and further diagnostic evaluation of the buildings HVAC systems.
