Motor Vehicle Technician

Trant Engineering Limited is a multi discipline Engineering & Construction company, with offices and projects throughout the UK and Overseas. We have a number of different divisions including Energy, Oil & Gas, Water & Process, International and Control & Automation.

We have a dedicated Plant and Transport division that services and maintains our fleet of vehicles and plant across the business, and we are currently looking for motor vehicle technicians to join our existing team.

As a construction company working hours are predominantly limited to Monday- Friday.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Servicing, mechanical repairs and diagnostics of cars and light commercial vehicles from various manufacturers.
Attending sites for routine maintenance and repair
Occasional maintenance / repair of larger construction site machinery (training will be given)
Applicants are expected to have a strong commitment to health & safety ensuring that tasks are planned and executed safely and efficiently.

Required Skills/Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in vehicle maintenance repair
Time served technician / mechanic with appropriate practical experience
Full UK driving licence
