Senior Transport Planner
We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Transport Planner for our London Transport team on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be working on a number of transport assessments and travel plans and will have the opportunity to work with multi-disciplinary teams. This is a client facing role.
Key responsibilities / duties include:
* Report writing
* Trip generation and distribution analysis
* Travel Plans
* Transport Assessments
* Junction Modelling
* Monitoring budgets and resources
Capabilities and Qualifications
The successful Senior Transport Planner will be a positive and enthusiastic team player, who has a degree in Transport Planning or a related subject and ideally would be Chartered or working towards Chartership. The ideal candidate will also have a minimum of 5 years’ experience of working in a Transport or Engineering role.
The ideal candidates must have/be:
* Experience managing budgets and resources
* Experience in managing medium to large scale projects
* Experience of working with clients, both in the public and private sector
* Knowledge of LinSig, PICARDY, ARCADY and TRANSYT would be beneficial
* Experience of meeting demanding deadlines
* Excellent communication skills
* Competent in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly including: MS Word and MS Excel.
Ideally the applicant will be able to demonstrate their experience, competency and flexibility to meet the demands of the role.
