Mechanical Engineering Technicians

Salary: £28,800 – £30,000 per year

I am currently recruiting for Mechanical Engineering Technicians for a very well-established and reputable company with a long standing presence in the Crewe area.

Working as part of a team, the aim of the role is to undertake engineering work of components used in the manufacture and repair of products for the rail industry.

• Develop, manufacture and install mechanical jigs and fixtures in to equipment housings.
• Assist the Manufacture Engineering department with the development and implementation of Standard operating procedures and work instructions. 
• Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Work to tight deadlines.

Requirements

• Apprenticeship in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent 
• High level of dexterity. 
• Flexible and willing to learn.
• Motivated and able to work on your own initiative.
