Welders – Structural Steelwork

Salary: £16.8 – £18 per hour

Fabricator-Welders needed based in / within a commutable distance of Andover, Hampshire. Secure PAYE roles available. Excellent hourly rates plus overtime available at time and half.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and successful steelwork fabrication business that specialises in designing and fabricating bespoke steelwork for the building/construction industry. Projects vary but include: stairs, hand rails, Juliet balconies, gates & railings and the like alongside some structural steelwork.

Fabricator-Welder duties and requirements:

•  Set out, fabricate and weld up a variety of structural steelwork and/or architectural metal work all to technical drawings.
•  Must have at least 3 years’ experience working as a fabricator/welder on a range of either structural steelwork or architectural metal work as listed above.
•  Must be able to read and work to technical fabrication drawings.
•  Able to MIG weld (TIG & Stick advantageous but not essential).
•  Have good attention to detail and take pride in your work.
