Preschool Room Leader and Nursery Nurse

A Nursery in South West London ( Raynes Park) is looking for two practitioners.

Firstly a Full time Nursery Nurse and also a experienced Preschool Room Leader

Both roles are 40 hours per week and are permanent positions

You must hold at least a level 3 qualification for both roles and for the Room Leader role you must have experience in leading a Preschool Room.

You must have a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and also be able to teach letters and sounds ( Phonics) along with the seven areas of learning.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

* To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
* To plan, prepare and review the curriculum with the team in your room reflective of the EYFS
* To work in partnership with parents and carers
* To follow and implement all of the policies and procedures set out by the nursery
* To lead the delivery of childcare practices within your room assuming line manager responsibilities for a small team of nursery nurses and assistants.( Room Leader role only)

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

* A minimum of a level 3 qualification in Early Years
* Supervisory experience.( Room Leader Role Only)
* Strong leadership skills. ( Room LEader Role Only)
* A sound knowledge of the EYFS and welfare requirements.
* A strong knowledge of safeguarding practices and processes.
