Night Time Care Assistant

Salary: £26,000 per year

A great opportunity to put a little back into the community by working for a well established group of care and nursing homes – This home in Burnham on Sea in Somerset if bright, airy, and ‘home’ for nearly 40 elderly residents (some with dementia needs). They are on the seafront which is great for the residents’ mental health and are fully kitted out with modern specialist equipment such as modern lifting equipment, specialist mattress and have very large day rooms for entertainment as well as a lovely garden.

They are recruiting for a Night Time Healthcare Assistant – Part time or full time

* Providing elderly people with emotional and functional night time care and dressing, helping with feeding, getting them dresses, helping with personal care and washing

* Based at their well established care home in Burnham on Sea – 200m from the sea!

* Full time hours working 7pm till 7 am, 2 or 3 nights a week on a rolling rota, working every other weekend

* £26,000 per year, 24 or 36 hours paid per week

Qualifications/Experience/Requirements

* Living anywhere within travelling distance to the home in Burnham on Sea in Somerset

* You need some sort of care experience working with the elderly

* You need to be passionate about helping elderly people to give them care, support, and guidance in this difficult times
