Social Worker, Child Protection Team

Our client currently has a locum job vacancy for a social worker to work within a child’s protection team based in Sunderland. This vacancy has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is £33.6per hour (limited company worker).

Duties include:
– Managing complex child protection cases including care proceedings through the courts
– Undertaking core and initial assessments
– Covering duty and making enquiries regarding referrals
– Conducting child protection investigations
– Preparing child protection conference reports

Requirements:
To be eligible for this role, all applicants must have a degree (or similar) within social work and be registered with the HCPC. You must also have at least 4 years recent post qualifying experience working within a similar role.
