Information Security Officer to work for an exciting technology and media organisation based in London. The due to growth in their team they are looking and investment in their IT Department they are looking to bring on an Information Security Officer to be responsible of driving day to day management and support of information security being involved in creating, measuring and managing SLA’s to the business on a worldwide scale.

This is a new position which can be seen as a Greenfield site or opportunity for the right person to come in and own the role working with a newly created IT Security Team.

The nature of the role will be to promote awareness of security throughout the business from senior stakeholders throughout the businesses, creating and implement Security procedures from scratch. You will be involved in design, architecture security incident, intrusion preventions and malware detections systems. Ensure global network architecture is correctly adhered to security objectives. You will also define policies and procedures for Data and hardware security within the business while acting as the SME for all information security issues.

The Ideal candidate will be an experienced Information Security Officer with experience of working in a 24-7 environment, experience of delivering information security training to a business, setting up security information security infrastructure and procedures. You will have knowledge of intrusion detection / Data leakage prevention systems. Creation of architecture documents focusing on security deployment and management. You will have Understanding of PCI / ISO 27001 or similar.
