Digital Content Manager – Pensions / Investments / Insurance
London EC4
£35,000 to £45,000 + depending on experience

This is an exciting role for an experienced digital content manager / content marketing manager. The role comes with a huge amount of autonomy to develop, create and execute the content marketing strategy of the company.

The firm places content at the very heart of its marketing strategy and is looking for a talented and experienced content manager to take ownership of this area, ensuring that the company continues to produce the best content on the web for their products.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for all online content – including key landing pages, online guides, white papers, persona hubs, the company blog and press releases.

You will work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and Email Marketing Manager to ensure the business has the right quality and quantity of content to meet marketing goals.

The firm is a small but rapidly growing and well respected financial adviser, often being quoted in leading industry publications, such as the Financial Times, and broadsheet consumer press.

Digital Content Manager Key Responsibilities:

> Develop and execute the firm’s content marketing strategy
> Commission and review / edit work from freelance writers
> Potentially hire and manage an in-house copywriter
> Organise for technical content to be written by in-house experts
> Ad-hoc writing of website and technical content where required
> Optimise website content for search engine optimisation (SEO)
> Work with a PR agency to manage both PR strategy and delivery
> Script, direct and distribute video based content

Essential Skills:

Please note, only candidates that have at least 2 years experience writing about pensions, investments or protection insurance will be considered for this role. Other essential skills include:

> A real desire to produce top quality content
> Solid experience of website copywriting / editing
> Content creation with a commercial mindset
> Experience with social media distribution channels
> Understanding of on-page and off-page SEO
> Basic experience with Google Analytics
> Knowledge of online PR

Employment Details:

> Salary of £42,000 – £54,000depending on experience
> Working hours of Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm
> Office based in The City near St Paul’s Cathedral
