Qualified Senior Accountant

Salary: £36,000 – £54,000 per year

My client is looking to recruit an experienced, ACCA or ICA qualified Senior accountant to oversee general accounting operations within the firm.

The successful candidate would be expected to work on the accounts, business advisory and tax side of the business. The goal would be to provide a mix of accounting and advisory work for the firm’s clients.

You will have some responsibility for helping junior members of the team understand and deliver accounts to clients.

Requirements:

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work on own or as part of a team

• Excellent numeracy and analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions and develop recommendations.

• Working to tight deadlines

• Production of reports for management

• Experience of working within and for a firm of accountants

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of financial systems and accounting techniques

• PC based systems especially spreadsheets

• Use of Microsoft Office products

• Financial procedures
