The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a leading Stem Cell company for a GMP Production Scientist working within a busy production team where you’ll be responsible for the delivery of Cellular Therapy Manufacturing Projects. You’ll perform production activities for the contract manufacturing operation on delivery of products whilst meeting all the required quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manufacture Cellular Therapies and Advanced Medicinal Products (ATMPs) according to Good Manufacturing Practice within a controlled clean room environment.
*Complete Quality related documentation including batch production records, change controls, incidents/deviations and risk assessments in accordance with GMP and SOPs
*Prepare and maintain SOPs
*Prepare formal documentation for new projects to enable development to be introduced
*Communicate procedures and results with clients
*Plan and undertake the validation of new Production process and equipment
You
‘ll have a Life Science degree or a related subject and experience working in a GMP Clean room production environment with a background in Stem Cells, cellular therapies or cell banking. A working knowledge of UK laws and regulations for cell therapy products and tissue donation is also required.

A leading Stem Cell and Cellular Therapy Manufacturing company based in Edinburgh with big expansion plans of their operations with a view to open a site in Cambridge in 2015.
