Occupational Health Administrator
Our client is one of the leading and the largest energy companies in the UK, due to the ramp-up of an exciting new project; they are currently looking to recruit a for an Occupational Health Administrator (OHA) contract position based in Kent.
You will be managing the Occupational Health Reception, activities include: dealing with initial enquiries, answering phone calls, making appointments for the OHP, OHA, Physio and booking TRHA’s and first aid treatments onto the computer diary.
Key responsibilities of the Occupational Health Administrator:
-Keep accurate documentation/ computer records
-Organise health promotion information and liaise with outside organisations as appropriate
-Assist the OHA / OH Technician in monitoring compliance with statutory requirements and collate relevant data for the audit purposes
-Maintain suitable levels of medical stock and provide stock to First Aiders as requested for the RCA Medical Centre and First Aid Kits on site
-Arrange for the calibration and maintenance of medical equipment e.g. breathalyser, spirometry, audiology, drug fridge, blood pressure monitor, stretcher trolleys
-Provide First Aid treatment (if appropriately trained) and maintain accurate records of accidents/incidents
-Ensure electrical equipment used in Occupational Health is PAT Tested as required by legislation
Candidates for the position of the Occupational Health Administrator will possess the following:
-Computer literate, good attention to detail, good communication skills.
-Must be proficient in MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word
-A minimum of 3 years’ experience of administration and customer service role within a commercial Occupational Health setting
-Administration management on complex Occupational Health services
-Work experience within medical services sector would be advantageous
