This well-established local organisation are looking for an experienced credit controller to join their team. This role will be fully office based and the ideal candidate will be available at short notice.
Credit Controller – About The Role
In this role you will be reporting into the Finance Manager and will be solely managing the Credit Control function. You will be responsible for building relationships with new & existing suppliers whilst regularly communicating with other departments. This role offers great career stability within a fantastic organisation. Your key responsibilities will be:
* Processing direct debit collections.
* Monitoring and chasing debtors in consultation with the Finance Manager.
* Handling the end-to-end sales ledger process and resolving any queries.
* Dealing with daily banking, petty cash and credit cards.
* Producing billing reports for multiple sites.
* Answering queries from suppliers and liaising with other members of staff.
* Any other relevant tasks as directed by the director of finance.
The successful Credit Controller will have:
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
* Excellent communication and organisation skills.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Strong excel skills.
