Our well established and internationally recognised Lincoln based client is seeking a full time and permanent Manufacturing Operative.

The Role

The main responsibility of this role is to assist in the manufacture of small company components in a clean room, production environment.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

– Computer literacy and numeracy skills
– The ability to read and interpret manufacturing instructions
– Strong team working ethics
– A meticulous approach to their work and;
– A strong commitment to adhering to electrical Health and Safety legislation

In addition to the above, this role will include:

– Working with Chemicals
– Operating various types of equipment including aligners and wafer tracks
– Conducting some inspection processes
– Cleaning and etching components using acids
– Ensuring that all Operator instructions are accurately followed

A keen interest in electrical systems would be advantageous however, is not essential as training will be provided.
Due to the nature of the activities, this role will require the use of full Clean Room clothing to minimise particle levels within the production area. Full training will be given to the successful applicant.

We are seeking a hardworking and committed individual who is happy to work within a clean room factory environment.

Hours

This role will involve working a day shift as follows:-
Monday to Thursday: 7.30am-3.30pm
Friday: 7.30am-3.00pm
In the future this may move onto alternating shifts such as 6.00am – 2.00pm and 2.00pm – 10.00pm.
