Mechanical Instructor
We have an appealing opportunity for a Mechanical Instructor. Our client is a global defence, aerospace and security company who is currently searching for someone like you to fill this vacancy. We want to give you the chance of working alongside a team of highly skilled individuals, as well as giving you the opportunity to develop upon your area of expertise. If you are the successful candidate, your secured role will require you to be responsible for delivering effective and efficient training analysis, design, development and delivery of training solutions covering all aircraft mechanical systems.
Job Information
In order to successfully secure this position, it is required that you hold a City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance – or equivalent. Our client has stated that it is essential that the applicant applying should have extensive practical experience across the range of aircraft mechanical systems. If this applies to you, you will therefore have responsibility of direct and lead specialist training functions in conducting cadet assessment and evaluation exercises – implementing remedial action where required.
As instructor, you will be expected to produce training support materials – including curriculum, training objectives, syllabuses, course plans, and assessment and evaluation methods. Therefore, it is important that you have recent teaching or instructional experience with a recognised formal instructor qualification. Within this role it will be your responsibility to ensure the overall general welfare of students in assigned areas during training activities, as well as monitoring their performance so that each individual achieves maximum progress towards the training objectives.
In order to achieve success in this role, you must have a detailed understanding of the design and operation of complex and integrated systems, enabling theoretical and practical applications to be utilised in both training and operational environments. This will require you to be in charge of the operation of complex training aids and simulators.
