Skilled Shift Fitter

A position for a heavy vehicle fitter has become available working for a company based in Haslingden to join their team and help maintain the diagnostics, fault finding and repair of specialist transport vehicles on a daily basis.

This is an ideal role for a heavy vehicle fitter who has worked on buses or heavy goods vehicles and is now looking to settle in a role and work within an efficient depot that has a good working culture and friendly atmosphere.

The role will focus mainly on maintain a varied fleet and paying attention to detail. You will need to ensure vehicles are inspected and repaired to specific standards set by DVSA for MOT’s. You will be responsible for the work you do and work within the Health and Safety guidelines set by the company. This role is shift work and requires 39 hours per week, along with a tool and telephone allowance and training needed will be provided.

The ideal candidate would require experience working on HGV’s previously and having the ability to pay attention to detail when working to high standards. The company are also looking for somebody who is motivate, driven and have the ability to work unsupervised.
