Structural Engineer

Salary: £30,000 – £72,000 per year

This exciting role will suit an ambitious Structural Engineer with 4+ years experience looking to join an expanding company.

Role & Responsibilities

The role will see the engineer take detailed design from concept to completion. Projects are medium to large scale covering new build to regeneration projects.

The role will require experience of designing in a range of materials such as concrete, load-bearing masonry, timber and CLT and steel.

The scope of work covers a variety building sectors including:

·Commercial
·Healthcare
·Residential
·Education
·Leisure
·RC Framed and multi-storey buildings

Requirements

BEng/MSc (or equivalent) Civil/Structural Engineering
Member of ICE/IStructE working towards chartered status.
Minimum 4 years experience
of working in all main materials including Steel, Timber, Masonry and Concrete
Ability to deliver projects through to completion, and work within a multidisciplinary
consultancy
Sound technical skills and willingness to learn
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Software experience of Tekla Structural Designer
Ambitious with a drive to succeed and become a chartered engineer
